As part of our clinical support team, you'll play a key role in customer satisfaction. You'll be responsible for ensuring every contact is informative, productive, and positive for our members and providers. Your efforts will positively impact our members' experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage intake of member information or admission/discharge notifications.
- Collaborate with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and the clinical team to manage requests from members and/or providers.
- Process incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification, and census roles.
- Provide triage and care coordination for non-clinical assessment/intervention cases.
- Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers.
Our environment is fast-paced and requires efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness when interacting with members over the phone. Flexibility in scheduling, including evening hours, is also required.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems.
- Ability to create, edit, save, and send documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to type and talk simultaneously while navigating multiple screens.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the healthcare industry and with healthcare insurance.
- Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes.
- Call center experience.
