The Sprinkler/Plumbing Specialist plays a crucial role in project estimation by accurately interpreting technical documents, performing takeoffs, and preparing detailed proposals.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive analysis of plumbing and sprinkler drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs
- Review all project documents and specifications to assess factors impacting the scope of work
- Obtain vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy and reliability
- Input takeoff data and prepare detailed proposals using provided templates and tools
- Ensure timely submission of projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Prior experience in Plumbing & Sprinkler Takeoffs and analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and proposal preparation
- Hands-on experience with digital takeoffs and markup processes using Revu Bluebeam
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail for accurate results
- Strong written communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
- Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines and deliverables
- Ability to interpret complex technical documents and blueprints with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
