Job Overview

A Senior IT Auditor plays a pivotal role in assessing and enhancing internal controls, IT systems, and risk management processes to drive business efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of advanced internal audit methodologies and strategic annual audit plans.
  • Plan, execute, and document thorough IT audits aligned with the audit plan or as requested by senior management or the Audit Committee.
  • Support the comprehensive assessment of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICFR), including IT process walkthroughs, control testing, and detailed reporting.
  • Ensure high-quality audit documentation is complete, accurate, and supports findings and conclusions.
  • Prepare well-structured audit workpapers and formal reports detailing key observations and recommendations.
  • Identify significant internal control weaknesses and follow up to ensure timely remediation.
  • Collaborate effectively with control owners and external auditors throughout the audit lifecycle.
  • Educate stakeholders on critical internal control requirements and promote audit awareness across the organization.
  • Stay current on cutting-edge business technology, evolving accounting standards, and regulatory changes impacting IT and audit practices.
  • Communicate actionable audit insights and practical recommendations to senior management.
  • Partner with audit leadership to identify and assess emerging technology risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend and support initiatives to enhance audit efficiency through data analytics and automation.
