As a seasoned Accounts Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts for UK-based clients in accordance with FRS 102 1A.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, including preparation of statutory reports and financial disclosures.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including deferred income, accruals, and other key items to ensure timely delivery and accurate financial information.
  • Draft and review financial statements to guarantee adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal team and clients to deliver high-quality financial reporting services.
  • Leverage TaxCalc and Xero software to prepare and submit financial information.
  • Play a key role in finalizing accounts and resolving any compliance-related issues that may arise.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing UK year-end accounts, with a strong understanding and practical application of FRS 102 1A. Additionally, proficiency in TaxCalc and Xero is highly desirable.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in accounting and compliance.
  • A solid grasp of balance sheet concepts, including deferred income and accruals.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
