Workforce Planning Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Workforce Planning Specialist to lead our capacity planning efforts.

The ideal candidate will have experience in workforce management, with a strong analytical mindset and excellent leadership skills. This role requires the ability to analyze complex data, make informed decisions, and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement capacity planning strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Manage overall capacity planning for multiple sites and products.
  • Collaborate with operations, workforce management, IT, and leadership teams to align capacity planning with business goals.
  • Lead a team of capacity planners, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
  • Analyze reporting, staffing, and scheduling procedures to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Proactively provide scheduling analysis and recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead capacity planning governance calls.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert representing the business.
  • Establish and maintain operational reporting.
  • Coach, train, and evaluate Workforce Management Team members on capacity planning.
  • Perform auditing and inspections of headcount numbers and reconciliation with each site and HR.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Technical knowledge of MS Office products and Google Suite.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commitment to ownership and accountability.
