MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring of site labor force and subcontractor works
  • Oversee and evaluate project status and recommend corrective action and control measures for proper and timely accomplishment of the project
  • Schedule and plan all actual construction and related works to recommend and improve proper sequencing of works for the timely completion of the project
  • Oversee the actual execution of all activities and operations to ensure that all contract requirements are met based on the targets and policies of both the Client and the Company
  • Ensure that safety and quality programs are implemented diligently
  • Coordinate project requirements (Manpower, Materials, Equipment and Finance) to all concerned units
  • Advise the Construction Manager on the accomplishments, problems and actions for the proper execution of construction
  • Prepare construction schedule of the project and communicate any adjustments
  • Generate weekly project status reports
  • Evaluate and monitor subcontractor accomplishments and billings including overall project status
  • Analyze and review plans and specifications
  • Monitor, interpret and implement technical designs and drawings
  • Provide technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects
  • Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
  • Liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with Building Codes and other regulatory standards
  • Communicate with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
  • Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
  • Perform project close-out
  • Perform all other duties as may be assigned by immediate superior or supervisor from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a licensed Civil Engineer
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience with the same capacity
  • In-depth understanding of local building codes, construction procedures, and material and project management principles
  • Knowledge in construction methodologies and procedures is a must
  • Knowledge in preparation of construction schedules and timelines
  • Knowledge in estimates
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD and MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have strong leadership skills, results-oriented and flexible

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
