
Financial Record Specialist

Our team is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our dynamic organization, supporting the financial needs of fast-growing businesses in the jewelry retail industry.
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, streamlining transaction processing, and providing expert support to key automation initiatives using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial tools like Bill.com. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping tasks including record maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger management.
- Provide retail accounting support including inventory tracking, cost-of-goods-sold allocations, and POS system integration.
- Assist with payroll administration and provide expertise in managing vendor payments efficiently using Bill.com.
- Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and collaborate with the CFO team to support forecasting and budgeting efforts.
- Automate workflows using QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, or other integrated tools, and recommend improvements to streamline bookkeeping operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a retail or e-commerce setting.
- Experience working in or with the jewelry industry is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Bill.com, and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
