Job Position: Financial Specialist

Location: Remote (Asia)

Reports to: Director, Business Analysis

Position Summary:

We seek a highly skilled Financial Specialist to support our Business Analysis team.

This offshore role, based in Asia, will focus on report development and administration, data visualization, Excel model consolidation, and presentation updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report Development & Administration:
    • Administer and maintain financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
    • Develop and enhance reports to meet business needs.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to report usage.
  • Data Visualization:
    • Design, create, and manage dashboards that provide key insights to stakeholders.
    • Continuously improve dashboard functionalities to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Excel Model Consolidation:
    • Build and maintain complex Excel models for financial consolidation, ensuring data accuracy.
    • Automate recurring reports using advanced Excel techniques to streamline processes.
  • Presentation Updates:
    • Update and refine presentations used for executive reviews and internal reporting.
    • Collaborate with the Business Analysis team to create visually compelling slides that effectively communicate financial insights.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a Business Analysis environment.
  • Hands-on experience with financial reporting and administration tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and automation) and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard creation tools.
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an offshore role supporting a global team.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and data integration processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
