Job Title: Product Development Specialist

Develop new products and platforms, leading plant trials from kitchen recipe to commercial production.

The role involves process development, establishing quality control, supplier management for manufactured and traded items, and project representation in meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with chefs and suppliers to explore food concepts and trends, develop new recipes, and ensure taste superiority through open innovation.

  • Translate kitchen recipes to commercial formulas, conduct plant trials, validate specs with commissaries, document manufacturing standards, support regulatory documentation, and sensory testing.

  • Develop SOPs and store processes for new products, conduct product simulations, ensure accurate menu listings, and profitability analysis.

  • Audit and assess supplier capabilities, evaluate raw materials and packaging, develop specifications, and coordinate sourcing of new items.

  • Improve core and complementary products for quality and cost, recommend alternative materials and equipment for efficiency, update SOPs and menu listings.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of BS Food Technology or related field.
  • At least 3 years of R&D experience from reputable food manufacturing company.
  • Experience in meat products, bakery products, and sauces is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work in Ortigas, Pasig.
