Labor Relations Specialist with HR Policy Expertise

Job Overview:

Cobden & Carter International seeks a skilled Labor Relations Specialist to drive strategic initiatives and maintain effective labor relations. This role requires expertise in HR policy implementation, dispute resolution, and report generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and prepare comprehensive reports on labor relations activities.
  • Administer general policies and programs in labor relations, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Meditate employee disputes and ensure grievance handling aligns with company policy.
  • Collaborate in developing and implementing human resource policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee relation issues, including disciplinary cases and DOLE matters.
  • Oversee resignation and termination procedures, as well as potential legal matters related to employees filing lawsuits.
  • Prepare accurate and timely information for internal customers.
  • Develop documentation necessary for case management concerns.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Labor Relations or relevant work experience in PH Labor Laws.
  • Strong writing skills and proficiency in creating impactful written communications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with varied deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and understanding of basic HR concepts.
