Account Management Specialist

This position entails the effective management and oversight of customer accounts, ensuring timely payment collection. Key responsibilities include preparing accurate invoices, reconciling customer transactions, and addressing billing discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Generate and distribute precise invoices to customers in a timely manner.
  2. Monitor and manage customer accounts, guaranteeing prompt payment collection.
  3. Reconcile customer transactions and resolve any discrepancies or billing issues that may arise.
  4. Maintain meticulous records of billing transactions and customer interactions.
  5. Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, implementing efficient collection strategies.
  6. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure accurate billing and address customer inquiries.
  7. Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, including aging reports and monthly summaries.
  8. Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting related to accounts receivable.
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in account management and billing is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is necessary.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is advantageous.
