Vividly is a cutting-edge trade promotion management solution built for the consumer packaged goods industry. From campaign creation to deductions management and measurement, we assist brands in effectively managing every aspect of trade spend.

The $8 trillion dollar trade promotion spend problem presents an exciting opportunity for innovation by an SaaS startup. In order to grow, consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands allocate 20% of their topline revenue to get into retailers and promote their products within those retailers. However, this comes with a challenge as 70% of promotions are not ROI positive.

This is because Return on Investment (ROI) tracking is difficult. The industry relies heavily on emails, pdfs, and xls spreadsheets. At Vividly, we aim to solve this massive problem using AI, Machine Learning, and Fintech, thereby adding value to everyone in the chain. Our clients include notable brands such as Liquid Death, Amy's, and Laird Superfoods.

Our Professional Services Finance team has been newly defined as a crucial pillar of Customer Experience. We aim to drive client value by providing financial support through distributor/retailer backup retrieval, collections, and transaction processing. We are seeking a diligent, bright, and energetic professional to join the Customer Experience team as a Key Trade Spend Manager. If you're a self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and technical aptitude, you'll be a perfect fit. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to and shape our customer's journey to the Cloud. We require someone who has gained experience on the front lines of Small to Midsize Business (SMB) helping these companies better understand, optimize, and analyze trade spend dollars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the AR Manager to develop a scalable platform that supports deductions reconciliation, including identifying trends and opportunities for the client based on expense settlements.
  • Adhere to established procedures to determine whether an expense is authorized or unauthorized.
  • Establish standard operating procedures for different tasks within the department.
  • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance the deductions process.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Take responsibility for department goals by accepting new duties and finding opportunities for improvement within the Customer Success – Technology Enabled Services department.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Trade Promotion Management
  • A background or education in Accounting
  • Works a shift aligned with the PST, MST, EST timezones
  • Deductions, collections, reconciliations and general trade finance experience is required
  • CPG Industry experience is required
  • Technical prowess with SaaS products preferred, including Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite
  • Experience working in a start-up and comfortable with change
  • Business level English fluency required
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with TPM software is an added bonus
