Accountant Position

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.

  • Preparation and review of personal income tax returns for individuals, including employees, business schedules, and rental properties.
  • Declaration of income from all sources, including input of dividends, distributions, and franking credits.
  • Input of allowable deductions and preparation of business schedules and reconciliation of income and expenses.
  • Preparation of rental schedule, including depreciation schedules, and motor vehicle schedule.
  • Preparation and calculation of capital gains on disposal of assets and preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and instalment activity statements.
  • Analysis of ledger data and preparation of monthly management reports.
  • Regular data entry and bookkeeping of client records and preparation of documents and workpapers required.
  • Collaboration with tax agent partner/manager and handling of other related duties assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and Professional License (Passed Board License Exam) is required.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the related field and experience in modern cloud accounting software will be highly regarded.
  • Experienced in providing accounting services to a portfolio of clients and multi-client service environment will also be highly regarded.
  • Ability to engage with clients through email and strong English – both written and verbal to correspond to Australian Clients is essential.
  • Dynamic personality that can adapt to fast-paced growth environment and enthusiasm for continuous learning in Accounting, Technology, and Business process is desirable.
  • Team-oriented individual who can work effectively in a collaborative environment is required.

Key Responsibilities:
