Job Overview

The Business Continuity Risk Management Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the resilience and continuity of business operations. Their primary objective is to develop, implement, and maintain effective business continuity plans.

  • Collaborate with process owners to create testing strategies and resolve issues during control assessments.
  • Work with risk management teams to ensure compliance with business continuity standards and interface with IT to guarantee backup plans for systemic dependencies are in place.
  • Oversee other Risk Management activities within Global Services, including Segregation of Duties, Single Point of Failure Assessment, and Third Party Vendor Oversight/Dependencies.

This position requires interaction with key individuals across Finance, IT, and Legal, including Corporate Audit personnel, business process owners, and segment leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation Phase:
    • Serve as the site point of contact for Resiliency teams.
    • Coordinate the development of Business Continuity plans.
  • Testing Phase:
    • Lead or support tabletop exercises, including editing slides and completing post-exercise questionnaires.
    • Document gaps and incorporate lessons learned into plans.
  • Maintenance Phase:
    • Monitor changes that may impact Business Continuity plans, such as building additions or new software.
    • Review all communications from Resiliency teams.
    • Ensure version control of eBRP documents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Operations, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Finance and/or Operations, preferably in risk management, compliance, or audit roles.
  • Experience in Business Continuity Planning is beneficial.
  • Ability to document internal controls around complex processes.
  • Strong business acumen, critical thinking, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Decisiveness and influence skills to support organizational objectives.
  • Capability to build organizational skills and address gaps.
  • Excellent communication, organization, project management, and multitasking skills.
  • Effective team player in a performance-driven culture.
  • Willingness to work US hours and in a hybrid setup.

**Internal candidates must be in P2/P3/M1 roles for at least 2 years** to be eligible.
