Procurement and Risk Management Specialist

This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring seamless collaboration with suppliers, negotiating agreements, conducting thorough risk assessments, and evaluating customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with multiple stakeholders to guarantee compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Leverage expertise in risk management to drive the control assessment of suppliers.
  • Analyze completed questionnaires and supporting documentation to verify completeness and adherence to expectations.
  • Lead supplier assessments, providing overall IT and cybersecurity risk and controls knowledge.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and gaps within suppliers' IT environments.
  • Documented findings and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues through action plans or seek approval for risk acceptance.
  • Validate evidence from suppliers before closing action plans.
  • Elevate concerns associated with suppliers as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to deliver increased operational efficiency in processes, identify opportunities for improving supplier posture and enhance JPMC's supplier management processes, including expanded monitoring, KRI tracking, etc.
  • Support various SAS program initiatives, working closely with SAS Leads.
Requirements
  • Risk Management: Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks, develop effective strategies, and implement controls.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions.
