Crypto QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Crypto QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for ensuring product reliability and security in the cryptocurrency space.

Astra Dao is a leading platform driven by machine learning and artificial intelligence, providing cryptocurrency investment research and insights to clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for SaaS applications and APIs, focusing on functionality, security, and performance.
  • Automate testing workflows using tools like Reflect.Run and Cypress, integrating into our CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions.
  • Design and execute API tests to ensure they meet performance and security standards, using Postman for validation.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and performance testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to understand application architecture, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality deliverables.
  • Engage with the crypto community to gather feedback and insights, driving continuous product improvement.
  • Leverage tools like Maze and Lookback to conduct usability testing and gather user feedback, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Implement feature flagging and A/B testing using Split.io to manage feature releases and conduct experiments, monitoring new feature impact.
Requirements
  • Proven QA experience, preferably within the SaaS or crypto space, with a strong focus on web applications and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern testing frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Deep knowledge of the cryptocurrency landscape and active involvement in the crypto community.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, identifying and resolving issues effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
