Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Junior Quality Assurance Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our technical services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with experience in testing web applications and APIs. You will be responsible for designing and executing manual and automated test cases, as well as collaborating with development teams to resolve defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test and validate integrations between our software and external web applications
  • Review user stories and integration requirements for testability and clarity
  • Design and execute manual and automated test cases for data flows and workflows
  • Verify data mapping and synchronization between connected systems
  • Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and UAT testing on platform features and enhancements
  • Test and validate BI reports and dashboards for data accuracy and visualization
  • Document and track bugs and issues using project management tools

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum two years of professional experience in QA or software testing
  • Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, and data flows
  • Familiarity with SQL for data validation and analysis
Additional Successful Qualifications:
  • Experience testing APIs or integrations between systems
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
  • Understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud applications, and data security
