Australian Tax Manager Role Summary

Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Australian tax manager to join our team in Manila. This role involves delivering high-quality Australian tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients, including small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), family businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and small listed entities.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated exposure to Australian taxation and accounting legislation, strong technical knowledge in tax compliance, advisory, and accounting standards, and 4-5 years' experience working in a similar tax consulting or advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage one or more client engagements or components of large-scale projects.
  • Deliver high-quality Australian tax advice to a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency and applying them to client scenarios.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic tax planning.
  • Play a key role across the full scope of client engagements, including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated exposure to Australian taxation and accounting legislation.
  • Strong technical knowledge in tax compliance, advisory, and accounting standards.
  • 4-5 years' experience working in a similar tax consulting or advisory environment.
