Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Tax Manager (Australian Taxation) to lead client engagements, provide strategic tax and accounting advice, and mentor junior staff. You will manage diverse client portfolios, ensure service excellence, and contribute to business development initiatives. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full scope of client engagements, including tax and accounting compliance, advisory services, and business strategy.
  • Provide expert Australian tax and accounting advice to a diverse portfolio, including SMEs, family-owned businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and listed entities.
  • Develop technical expertise in Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and relationship-building activities.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, building networks, and supporting firm-wide initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4–5 years of experience in a similar corporate environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting legislation.
  • CA or CA-equivalent qualification required.
  • Relevant tertiary or post-graduate qualification.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven leadership, mentoring, and team management abilities.
  • Passion for client service and the ability to develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Willing to work in Hybrid setup (2-3x per week)
