We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our AI Safety Services team. This role will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads, researching and prospecting, booking first meetings, and staying up-to-date with the latest AI-safety trends and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of professional experience in sales, support, operations, retail, hospitality, or military service. They should be comfortable juggling multiple tasks, hitting deadlines, and using productivity tools like Google Workspace and basic CRM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify inbound leads using discovery questions to understand technical scope, risk drivers, and buying timelines.

  • Research and prospect new business opportunities by building short lists of AI labs, hyperscalers, and fast-growing apps.

  • Book first meetings with Account Executives and Solutions Engineers by securing calendar time and preparing them with detailed call notes and prospect context.

  • Stay up-to-date with daily AI-safety headlines, regulations, and tooling updates, and translate buzz into relevant talking points.

  • Keep CRM clean by logging activity, enriching accounts, and reporting on conversion.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of professional work experience in any field.

  • Customer or client-facing exposure where you listened, probed, and solved problems.

  • Curiosity about AI and enthusiasm for learning.

  • Active listening and clear writing skills.

  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn and improve.
