Senior Financial Operations Specialist

The General Ledger Accountant is a mid-senior level role responsible for providing high-level support to the Global Controller. This position will oversee the performance of the GL team and work with senior management on cash burn reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the financial close process for corporate entities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet/income statement analysis.
- Manage fixed assets, prepaid accounts, payroll and benefits, accrued income taxes and other accrued liabilities.
- Perform intercompany elimination, allocations and consolidations.
- Manage and report on all cash accounts consolidated financial statements.
- Draft policies and procedures documenting accounting principles and procedural recommendations.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP principles.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills, including vLookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of managerial role experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
