The European Commission has approved a technical support instrument for Slovakia to desegregate Roma children in education.

The project aims to strengthen education authorities' capacity and develop a sustainable system to monitor segregation elimination and prevention in schools.

This role involves developing resources, analyzing data, and assisting review activities to promote inclusive education for Roma children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct an international review of good practices in addressing education segregation for Roma children.
  • Develop a capacity building toolkit and deliver workshops for regional and national stakeholders.
  • Provide technical expertise to project activities based on the review and toolkit findings.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in international development, human rights, education, or another relevant field.
  • At least ten years of experience in education, inclusive education, or inclusion of vulnerable groups in education.
  • Knowledge of international/regional trends in inclusive education and Roma inclusion.
  • Excellent networking, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
