Job Overview

A highly skilled Real Estate Operations Specialist is required to oversee the daily management of residential and/or commercial properties. The role ensures tenant satisfaction, timely rent collection, effective maintenance coordination, and accurate financial reporting.

This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of property management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties to ensure they are well-maintained and compliant with regulations.
  • Oversee rent collection, enforce lease terms, and follow up with tenants on late or missed payments using Rent Manager software.
  • Process accounts payable/receivable and generate comprehensive financial reports through Rent Manager.
  • Market vacant units, screen tenants, and manage lease agreements effectively.
  • Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and vendor management.
  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, complaints, and service requests.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure upkeep and compliance.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for properties.
  • Ensure adherence to local laws and housing regulations.
  • Collaborate with owners to provide updates on property performance and financial status.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in real estate operations or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Rent Manager software.
  • Knowledge of property management operations, leasing, and tenant relations.
  • Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
