The Middleware Operations Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of middleware applications, servers, and services. Key responsibilities include performing regular health checks, providing exceptional user support services, and proactive incident ownership until resolution.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting Health Checks for all Middleware applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Delivering User Support Services by creating, tracking, and updating user requests in ServiceNOW, maintaining an updated ServiceNOW Queue Management Dashboard, and producing weekly status updates.
  • Proactively owning incidents-issues until resolution, logging, and tracking identified system problems through resolution.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT Role/Service Operations.
  • Familiarity with Monitoring, Alerting, and Observability Concepts and Technologies as well as IT Incident Management processes.
  • Knowledge of Bash/Shell, Jython/Jacl scripting is advantageous; experience or familiarity with at least one of these technologies: Service NOW,ITSM, xMatters, New Relic, Moogsoft is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is required.
  • Relevant certifications such as Azure Certified Data Fundamentals or equivalent are desired.
