Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Professional to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record all daily financial transactions with precision and timeliness in compliance with Australian accounting standards and taxation regulations
  • Store and organize data for compliance and audit purposes
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including daily and weekly reconciliations and aging monitoring
  • Process and code vendor invoices and customer payments promptly
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
  • Conduct monthly bank, credit card, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Collaborate in preparing schedules and documentation for external audits
  • Support the preparation of financial reports as requested by management
  • Collaborate with Operations and Category Management for inventory invoice entries aligned with purchase orders, credit applications, and new vendor setups in Paytron
  • Prepare payroll for Australian employees and coordinate invoicing for remote contractors to ensure timely and accurate payments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in e-commerce or retail
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong understanding of Australian accounting principles and tax regulations
  • Experience in complex reconciliation processes and the ability to resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and inventory management systems is a plus
