Job Title: Financial Transaction Specialist
Our organization is seeking an experienced and meticulous individual to join our team as a Financial Transaction Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Financial Records: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and promptly, ensuring timely payment and receipt of funds.
- Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and distribute financial statements, reports, and budgets that provide valuable insights into our organization's financial performance.
- Audit Support: Assist with audits and ensure all financial data is accurate and readily available, supporting our organization's compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices, maintaining the highest level of integrity and transparency in our financial operations.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a related field.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including IFRS and U.S GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain the highest level of professionalism.
- Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
