Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes and Docker.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Deployment of Cloud-Based Infrastructure: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Agile and DevOps methodologies, driving business value through process improvements and technology adoption.
  • Management and Maintenance of Cloud Platforms: Ensure optimal performance and efficiency of IBM Apiconnect software in the cloud environment.
  • Configuration and Deployment of Virtualized Environments: Use VMware ESXi to deploy and manage Ubuntu Server environments.
  • Management of Cloud Security and Compliance: Oversee the management of IBM Cloud Platform and Services, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Deployment of Containerized Applications: Leverage containerization techniques to improve scalability and reliability using Red Hat Openshift and Kubernetes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain environment or solution operations procedures, tests, and quality standards.
  • Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering; strong understanding of networking, storage, operating system virtualization, and integration solutions and services; proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker is mandatory, with experience in AWS and on-prem virtualization a plus.
