Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Advisor to join our team at the Ateneo de Manila University. As a key member of our career services department, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to undergraduate students and alumni in their career development journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement career development initiatives and programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students and alumni.
  • Provide one-on-one career counseling sessions to help individuals explore their career goals, identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop effective job search strategies.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty members, employers, and alumni networks, to promote employability and facilitate career opportunities for our students and graduates.
  • Facilitate placement and referrals for students and alumni seeking employment, internships, or further studies.
  • Assist in organizing career-related events, such as career fairs, panel discussions, and networking sessions, to provide students and alumni with valuable opportunities to connect with industry professionals and build their professional networks.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred, but a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is also acceptable.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in career development, counseling, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, alumni, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
