Revenue Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience, a keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for reviewing customer contracts, performing revenue allocations, maintaining revenue schedules, and supporting monthly and quarterly closes.

Key Responsibilities- Assist in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations, including those related to revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled receivables.
- Assist with revenue reporting and analysis by monitoring customer usage.
- Review standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition principles under ASC 606.
- Assist in the order to cash process, reviewing submitted sales orders in our accounting system to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.
- Manage and maintain Net Suite ARM to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, data validation, reconciliation processes, data flows.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA/CIMA qualified or progress toward certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in SaaS revenue accounting with a focus on ASC 606 (desirable not but not essential).
- Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, CPQ).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
