Job Title: Senior Kitchen Operations Manager

This is a dynamic and challenging role that plays a critical part in maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence within our kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with company rules and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective working schedules for all cooks, taking into account factors such as workload, skill levels, and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Dining Room Manager to ensure seamless communication and coordination between kitchen and dining areas.
  • Monitor food production, quality control, and inventory management to optimize kitchen performance and minimize waste.
  • Implement and maintain thorough knowledge of Public Health Rules and Regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the operation.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Chef to plan and execute catering events, weddings, and other high-profile functions.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to junior staff members, helping them develop their skills and confidence in the kitchen.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable prices and ensuring timely delivery of fresh produce and ingredients.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar senior role in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on maintaining high standards of service and quality.
  • Detailed knowledge of Public Health Rules and Regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and systems, including point-of-sale software and inventory management tools.
