We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support our tax department in preparing and filing accurate tax returns.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing and filing individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Tax Document Management: Organize and maintain tax-related documents and records.
- Tax Review: Conduct preliminary reviews of financial statements and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify tax-related inquiries.
- Staying Current: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Audit Support: Provide support during audits and other financial reviews.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all tax-related tasks.
- Experience: Previous experience in tax preparation or accounting is preferred.
- Skill: Experience in tax filing.
- Certification: Enrolled agent with the IRS is a plus.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of tax regulations and procedures.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, ProSeries) and Microsoft Excel.
- Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
