Customer Service Representative Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients via phone, email, and chat.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer contacts in a timely and professional manner
  • Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues
  • Research systems to find missing information as applicable; coordinate with other departments to resolve issues as applicable
  • Follow established processes and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient resolution of customer inquiries
  • Utilize knowledge base and training to accurately answer customer questions
  • Comply with all confidentiality agreements and adhere to strict data security protocols
  • Escalate customer issues to management when necessary
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including first call resolution (FCR) and average handle time (AHT)
  • Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong typing skills, with ability to type at least 40 wpm
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
