Staff Specialist

Role Summary

We are seeking a Staff Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for monitoring sites' top defects and establishing robust projects or programs that lead to defect reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor sites' top defects and establish robust projects or programs to reduce defects
  • Implement and govern existing programs to optimize machine alarms for detection of machine abnormality and drive defect reduction
  • Manage data and tools for quality applications such as Continuous Improvement Program System, Customer Complaints, Line Disruptions System, Audit System, and Tableau Dashboard Management
  • Oversee management of Infineon QM tools for internal and customer audits
  • Represent the organization in Infineon-wide recognition programs such as Team-of-the-Quarter and Idea Management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent preferred (e.g., Chemistry, Electronics, Materials, Mechanical, Physics, etc.)
  • At least 5 to 10 years of experience within the Semiconductor Industry in Technology Developments/Product Developments/Process Engineering with knowledge of manufacturing processes and testing
  • Good knowledge of deviation management with a methodical and logical approach to problem solving
  • Good knowledge of failure analysis; knowledge of reliability assessment is an added advantage
  • Experience in data management and digitalization is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3 requirements is an added advantage
  • Vast experience working with various stakeholders in Continuous Improvement Programs
  • Strong problem-solving and statistical analytical skills with quality tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, 5 Why, SPC, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
