Job Title: Expert in US Tax Returns and Payroll Management

Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in US tax returns and payroll management? Do you have a strong understanding of US tax laws and proficiency in using QuickBooks Online (QBO) for financial management?

This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for managing and preparing US tax returns, handling payroll returns, and maintaining accurate financial records using QBO.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, as well as proven experience in preparing US tax returns and payroll returns. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other accounting software is also essential. Strong organizational and time management skills are required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and file US federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Manage payroll processing and prepare accurate and timely payroll returns.
  • Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
  • Stay updated with changes in US tax laws and payroll regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in preparing US tax returns and payroll returns.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of US tax laws, payroll processes, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, Enrolled Agent) is a plus.
