Power Generation Field Service Technician

Job Description:

As a Power Generation Field Service Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of power generation systems. Your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance and repairs on generators and other power generation equipment at customer sites.

You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide expert solutions to ensure their power generation systems are running efficiently and effectively.

In addition to performing technical tasks, you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documenting all work completed. This includes completing service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. If you have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering and enjoy working with your hands, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Requirements:
  • Apprentice Trained Power Generation/Electrical Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational Diploma from Relevant Technical Institution
  • Current Relevant Electrical Certification
  • Locally Valid Driving Permit
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Minimal Level of Workshop-Related Experience Required
  • Basic Level Knowledge of And/Or Experience with Power Generation Products
  • High Voltage/Low Voltage Experience
