Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

Role Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support the monthly closing process, with a strong focus on inventory accounting and costing. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and providing support to operations and management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly closing activities, particularly in the area of inventory accounting, which includes reconciling inventory sub-ledgers with General Ledger, ensuring inventory transactions are all properly captured, performing standard cost roll up on quarterly basis and prepare reports for inventory provision and aging on a monthly basis.
  • Work closely with operation team to carry out stock take on a quarterly basis.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare management reports and financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations and reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years' experience in finance/accounting, preferably in manufacturing sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and closing processes.
  • Hands-on experience in inventory accounting and cost analysis is preferred.
