Cyber Security Specialist

Protect and defend against cyber threats by analyzing security risks, developing effective measures, and maintaining vigilant defenses.


Essential Responsibilities:
  • Threat Analysis and Monitoring: Identify and analyze potential security threats through monitoring system logs, network traffic, and security tools.
  • Incident Response: Respond swiftly to security incidents, investigate breaches, and provide timely resolutions. Develop incident-response plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications; develop strategies for remediating vulnerabilities and minimizing potential risks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or related coursework in information technology and computer science with 1 year minimum experience.
  • Fundamental log analysis and troubleshooting skills; strong understanding of networking protocols and operating systems; able to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to evolving cyber threats.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advantageous to have: technical certifications in relevant areas such as CompTIA Security+.
  • At least 50 Mbps internet connection (good working-space is required).
