Technical Support Specialist Job Description

About the Role:

This position is a customer-facing technical support role where you will combine troubleshooting skills with clear communication.

  • This includes handling escalated support tickets via email, chat, and phone to support customers.
  • You will troubleshoot technical issues using internal tools, logs, and APIs to identify root causes.
  • A compliance expert will ensure that customers are responsible and their data is protected.
  • You will take ownership of escalations from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Collaboration with engineering and product teams may be necessary for deeper investigation or fixes.

About You:

We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience in providing live chat technical support for a software/SaaS platform.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.

English is your primary language, with Spanish as a secondary language being a plus.

You should be able to translate complex technical details to non-technical audiences.

Experience working across teams, departments, or multiple brands to solve customer issues is valuable.

Dependable with strong follow-through on customer commitments, and eager to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly.

Excellent writing and speaking skills in English are required.

The ability to recognize the bigger picture and understand trending issues is also necessary.
