Senior Security Assurance Leader

The Senior Manager, Security Assurance is a key position that requires expertise in security assurance initiatives and compliance with various security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the Security Assurance programs to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met.
  2. Oversee external audits (HITRUST, SOC, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS) and collaborate with auditors to provide necessary documentation and responses.
  3. Identify security gaps and develop remediation strategies.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks and influence the organization's security strategy.
  5. Develop security policies and procedures in alignment with organizational objectives.
  6. Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the security posture of the organization.
  7. Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure coherent security practices across the organization.
  8. Review change management requests for compliance with security standards.
  9. Assist in contract review and negotiation to ensure data protection and security compliance measures are implemented.
  10. Prepare regular updates on security assurance initiatives and audit findings for senior leadership.
Requirements
  1. 7-10 years of experience in information security, focusing on security assurance and compliance.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  3. In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards.
  4. Proven experience in managing audit engagements and preparing evidence for collaboration.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Experience in project management and prioritizing multiple initiatives.
  8. Knowledge of compliance software and audit portals.
  9. Relevant security certifications and framework certifications are desirable.
