Financial Manager Job Opportunity

The position of Financial Manager is available for a candidate with experience in managing daily accounting tasks and ensuring the financial accuracy of specific properties. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of accounting principles, be detail-oriented, and have strong numerical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post and process journal entries to record business transactions accurately.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices to clients.
  • Perform account payable reconciliations and update financial data in databases.
  • Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports according to legal guidelines.
  • Review expenses, payroll records, and provide vendor backup as assigned.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants on monthly/yearly closings.
  • Complete annual CAM, tax, and insurance escalations and prepare tenant packages.
  • Provide support for sales usage and prepare quarterly property snapshots and financial statements.
  • Aging reports and other financial documents will be prepared and submitted accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant in the US.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and accounting software such as Yardi is beneficial.
  • Experience in the real estate or hospitality industry is advantageous.
