Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level maintenance and 24/7 surveillance of Fixed Core, Transport, and Access Networks, including relevant OSS, Backend Systems, Ancillary facilities, and Environmental support systems necessary for the delivery of existing and future services.
  • Use Network Management Systems and Operational Support tools within the respective coverage based on geographic area and/or type of network.
  • Proactively monitor network and KPI threshold crossing alarms and endorse dispatch to appropriate resolving teams.
  • Supply information for broadcast to communications management.
Fault Management
  1. Perform 1st level troubleshooting of trouble tickets for outages and quality issues.
  2. Provide logical assistance to ANM, Tier2 for all domains within Access Network AOR.
  3. Investigate anomalies in hardware/software, capacity, and configuration issues; coordinate with Tier2 for 2nd level support, vendor support, or engineering support.
  4. Ensure tickets are issued and assigned to the appropriate section.
  5. Monitor and ensure timely closure of tickets with sufficient details for Network Fault Analytics and Regional Performance.
  6. Perform vertical and horizontal escalation during network outages or degradation.
  7. Provide regular and timely updates on the status of resolution efforts.
  8. Flag sections if ongoing restoration risks meeting standards.
  9. Address service issues and ensure their resolution.
  10. Perform service restoration activities such as resetting, rehoming, and rerouting during outages or degradation.

  • Implement emergency change requests and activities.
