Job Overview

As a senior platform engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing scalable, multi-node kubernetes clusters on-premises, in aws eks, or azure aks. You will also automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using terraform, ansible, and helm.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, multi-node kubernetes clusters
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using terraform, ansible, and helm
  • Build and maintain ci/cd pipelines using github actions and other relevant tools
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
  • Ensure infrastructure is secure, resilient, and highly available, supporting auto-scaling where applicable
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to enable fast and reliable deployment cycles
  • Work with it and support teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master's degree is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a platform engineer, devops engineer, or similar role
  • Deep expertise in:
  1. Kubernetes administration (cka or similar certifications are a plus)
  2. Infrastructure as code using terraform
  • Strong experience with:
  1. Ci/cd tools (especially github actions)
  2. Helm charts and package management
  3. Monitoring and observability solutions (e.g. prometheus, grafana)
  4. Scripting (bash, python)
  5. Linux system administration
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, especially aws and azure
  • Exposure to mlops workflows and large language model (llm) deployment
  • Experience provisioning kubernetes clusters on bare metal or virtual machines (e.g. using kubeadm, cluster api, or similar tools)
