Job Title: Software Licensing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced software licensing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software asset management and experience with managing licenses for multiple publishers.

This role requires expertise in creating effective license positions, navigating complex licensing agreements, and managing software assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, cost-efficiency, and adherence to legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Licenses Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with software licensing agreements to prevent legal issues and financial penalties.
  • Licenses Procurement: Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate and acquire software licenses at the most favorable terms and pricing.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of software licenses, tracking usage, expiration dates, and renewal requirements.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce software licensing costs while maintaining required functionality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of software licensing models including proprietary, open source, and cloud-based licenses.
  • Experience managing IBM Licenses and other enterprise licenses.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and collaboration skills to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team.
