Job Opportunity

This role is responsible for producing high-quality content to engage audiences and drive business outcomes. As a Content Production Specialist, you will work closely with the team to develop and implement effective content strategies that meet business objectives.

  • Create compelling copy for various platforms, including location pages, static pages, and blogs.
  • Edit, rewrite, and proofread existing content to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Content Manager to onboard and train new team members.
  • Delegatetasks to team members as needed and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of branding guidelines, voice, and tone to ensure alignment across all content.
  • Conduct keyword research and topic ideation to inform content decisions.
  • Implement content onto content management systems, primarily WordPress.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the development of our content strategy. Your expertise will help us tell our story and connect with our audience in a meaningful way.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Mass Communications, Journalism, or another related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of related work experience.
  • Proven track record of prioritizing, organizing, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make strategic recommendations based on data.
  • Strong conceptual and written communication skills with a deep understanding of the English language.
  • Proven track record of improving personal performance after receiving direction and constructive criticism.
  • Creative and strategic thinking when solving problems.
  • Attention to detail while creating and revising projects.
  • Basic understanding of content management systems, such as WordPress.
  • Understanding of search engine optimization.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or the Google Business Suite equivalents.
  • Experience with Google Drive is preferred.
  • Portfolio is preferred but not required.
  • This position will be backend and will not have client contact.
  • Google Analytics Certification is preferred.

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm CST.
