Business Insights Analyst Job

The Business Insights Analyst position at a forward-thinking organization involves harnessing data to drive business growth. As a skilled storyteller, you will translate complex data sets into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transform data into compelling narratives that influence strategy and tactics.
  • Analyze intricate data sets to derive actionable insights that inform crucial business decisions.
  • Pose as a masterful storyteller to convey insights that are lucid, concise, and actionable.
  • Collaborate with business partners to interpret analysis results, focusing on actionable next steps.
  • Develop bespoke reports that uncover valuable insights and analysis for the business.
  • Work in tandem with the data visualization team to create informative, repeatable reporting and data monitoring to expose gaps, trends, and opportunities.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications for data and reporting teams, converting technical approaches into easily digestible insights.
  • Condense data from multiple sources to communicate insights and opportunities effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis and preparation, including statistical methods and handling large data sets using SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages.
  • At least one year of hands-on experience building reports using Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar tools.
  • Effective communication skills; ability to articulate thoughts and information clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Take initiative to act and resolve problems, including working independently when necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to prioritize information effectively.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in day-to-day operations related to department priorities.
Education/Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in ECE, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related IT/Computer field.
