Job Overview

This role focuses on leading IT initiatives and driving automation across various systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse, with a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 BC and QBO processes.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Automating business processes using Power Automate and building custom applications on Dataverse
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to implement Dynamics 365 BC and QBO automation solutions
  • Maturing Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Intune, and SharePoint/Teams governance
  • Leading and mentoring IT specialists, implementing runbooks and SOPs, and establishing a lightweight Center of Excellence

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the first 90 days include:

  • Implementing at least three production automations that save ≥10 hours per week
  • Establishing a baseline for multi-factor authentication and conditional access, as well as DLP policies for Power Platform
  • Developing an automation roadmap for Dynamics 365 Business Central and QBO, along with a live KPI dashboard

Requirements for this position include:

  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in player-coach leadership styles
  • Proficiency in Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, SharePoint/Teams integration, API/connectors, and accounting data fluency
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI/DAX, Entra/Intune, Azure, and RPA Desktop (nice to have)
