Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to utilize their expertise and contribute to the growth of our organization.

  • This position requires 3-7 years of experience in accounting or finance, with supervisory experience and strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing teams, ensuring timely delivery of services, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
  • They will be responsible for reviewing financial reports, monitoring client channels, and providing feedback to senior leaders on systems and suggesting improvements.
  • The selected individual will also be responsible for looking for ways to grow client revenue and share ideas with senior leadership.
  • Additionally, they will conduct regular team evaluations, recommend promotions, and ensure clear, professional communication with clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close, audit support, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dear, XERO).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • CPA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms and integrations with accounting systems.
  • Experience with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and deferred revenue.
  • Experience with SaaS-based and marketing businesses.
