Job Opportunity for Paraplanner

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to support our financial planning team in creating comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting thorough product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing high-quality client documents that meet compliance requirements. This role also involves conducting detailed analysis and recommending suitable products for clients based on their individual needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Client Document Preparation: Ensure all client documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Product Comparison and Strategy Modelling: Conduct thorough analysis and recommend suitable products for clients based on their financial goals and objectives.
  • SMSF Setup and Structuring: Assist in setting up Self-Managed Super Funds for property investment and other financial strategies.
  • Financial Planning Software: Utilize tools like Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research, documentation, and analysis.
  • Tailored Financial Strategies: Work closely with senior planners to implement customized plans for clients that meet their specific needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Paraplanner, preferably in a financial planning environment.
  • Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Software Proficiency: Skilled in using financial planning tools like Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to model financial strategies effectively and make informed recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
