Senior Billing/Accounts Receivable Position Overview:

This role entails overseeing and managing the entire billing and accounts receivable process for U.S. and European companies.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in accounting talent placement to manage the billing and collections process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Billing and Accounts Receivable Process Management: Manage the entire billing and accounts receivable process from start to finish.
  • Invoice Preparation and Review: Prepare and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Accounts Receivable Aging Reports and Collections: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and manage the collection process to ensure timely receipt of payments.
  • Customer Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and address any billing issues promptly.
  • Process Improvement Strategies: Develop and implement effective strategies for improving the billing and collection process.
  • Internal Department Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial reports related to billing and accounts receivable, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders.
