Job Overview:
The HR Recruitment Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the recruitment team to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. This involves sourcing, coordinating, documenting, and reporting on recruitment activities to help the organization achieve its talent acquisition goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Candidate Engagement:
Source qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
Engage with candidates to provide them with a positive application experience. - Screening and Interview Coordination:
Review resumes and applications to identify top candidates.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring all parties are informed of details. - Reporting and Data Analysis:
Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as application volume, screening outcomes, and hiring timelines.
Provide insights to support strategic planning and improve recruitment processes. - Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, candidate status, and feedback in the ATS.
Ensure compliance with documentation standards and labor regulations. - Candidate Experience:
Act as a liaison between candidates and the company, ensuring a seamless application process.
Provide timely updates and responses to candidate inquiries. - Onboarding Support:
Support pre-employment checks, including background verification and document collection.
Assist in preparing onboarding schedules and new hire documentation. - Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in recruitment processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency. - Event Coordination:
Assist in organizing and attending job fairs, campus recruitment drives, and other hiring initiatives. - Communication:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and timelines.
Provide regular updates on recruitment progress and issues to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related fields.
- Proven experience in recruitment for at least 1-2 years.
- Familiarity with recruitment software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices and labor laws.
